Rental terms, conditions, and policies

1. Rental Agreement

By renting a vehicle from UnAppImMag Car Rental, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The rental agreement is formed when you make a reservation and is confirmed upon vehicle pickup.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age (25 for luxury vehicles)
  • Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years
  • Provide a valid credit card for payment and security deposit
  • Meet our credit and driving record requirements

3. Vehicle Use Restrictions

The rented vehicle must not be used for:

  • Illegal activities or transportation of illegal substances
  • Racing, speed contests, or driver training
  • Towing or pushing other vehicles
  • Transportation of hazardous materials
  • Off-road driving or on unpaved roads
  • Transportation for hire (taxi, rideshare, delivery)

4. Authorized Drivers

Only authorized drivers may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must be approved and added to the rental agreement with proper documentation and may incur additional fees.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of rental. We accept major credit cards. A security deposit will be held on your credit card for the duration of the rental period.

6. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to refuel will result in refueling charges at premium rates.

7. Insurance and Liability

Basic insurance coverage is included with all rentals. Additional coverage options are available. You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance.

8. Damage and Accidents

You must immediately report any accidents or damage to us and local authorities. You are responsible for damage costs, regardless of fault, unless covered by optional insurance.

9. Return Policy

Vehicles must be returned at the agreed location and time. Late returns may incur additional daily charges. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received.

10. Cancellation Policy

Reservations can be cancelled up to 24 hours before pickup without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

11. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Smoking in the vehicle
  • Transporting pets without approval
  • Exceeding passenger capacity
  • Operating the vehicle while under the influence
  • Modifying or tampering with the vehicle

12. Fees and Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Additional drivers
  • Equipment rental (GPS, child seats)
  • One-way rentals
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Traffic violations

13. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for consequential damages, lost profits, or personal property left in the vehicle.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Australian law.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
